Subscription & Refund Policy

Effective date: 12 September 2026 · Version 1.3

Draft — pending legal review. This is a working template. Highlighted fields must be completed and the whole document reviewed by a lawyer before launch.

This policy explains how paid Finachiva plans and one-time purchases work — what you are charged, when access starts and ends, and when a refund is available. It forms part of the Terms of Service between you and Finachiva Enterprise.

1. What this policy covers

It applies to every paid plan and one-time purchase made through Finachiva. Where it and the Terms of Service differ on subscriptions, billing, or refunds, this policy governs; on everything else the Terms govern. How we handle your personal data, including payment records, is covered by the Privacy Policy.

Finachiva is a tracking and planning tool, not an investment adviser. What the product does and does not claim about investments is set out in the Financial Information & Non-Investment Advice Notice.

2. Prices and taxes

  • Prices are shown in Indian Rupees on the pricing page — or, for a one-time pack, on the Billing page inside the app, where it is offered — and again at checkout. We do not restate a price in this document: the amount payable is the one displayed for the plan or pack you choose, and any discount from a coupon code is applied and shown before you confirm.
  • Amounts are inclusive of applicable taxes.
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay. Finachiva does not store complete card numbers, CVVs, banking passwords, UPI PINs, or other full payment credentials. We keep a record that a payment succeeded, the amount and the payment reference, and we keep Razorpay's own message about the payment for up to 90 days — unless processing of that message never completed, in which case its contents are kept until we settle it by hand and are then overwritten on the next weekly run. What that message contains is set out in the Privacy Policy.
  • A payment receipt is available in the app from your payment history (Billing → Receipt). That history lists your twenty most recent successful payments, and a receipt link is rendered for each of them; if you need a receipt for a payment older than those, write to support@finachiva.com with the payment reference. Where a GST tax invoice is legally required and Finachiva is registered for GST, the applicable GST tax invoice will be issued in accordance with applicable law. Until GST registration is effective, we provide the applicable payment receipt or other legally required document.

3. What you are buying

  • Pro is offered as a fixed-period plan that does not auto-renew. A paid period runs for the length shown at checkout, starting when your payment is confirmed, and then ends. Before payment is confirmed, checkout displays the applicable plan, price, paid period, and any other material terms of that purchase.
  • Activation is automatic. Once the payment is confirmed the plan is applied to your account, normally within a few minutes. If it has not been applied after a few minutes, write to support@finachiva.com quoting the payment reference shown on the payment screen and on your receipt.
  • A one-time purchase is not a subscription: it creates no paid period and no expiry date, nothing renews, and no further payment is taken.

4. No automatic renewal

Pro does not renew automatically. A plan runs for the period you paid for and then ends; we do not charge you again without a new purchase. When a paid period ends your data is not deleted — existing holdings stay visible and continue to be valued, but Pro-only holdings become read-only until you buy Pro again. To cancel, simply do not renew.

In practical terms, and for the avoidance of doubt:

  • a paid period expires by itself at the end of the period shown at checkout, unless you end it earlier yourself by switching plans — see the last bullet;
  • no renewal payment is taken, and buying Pro creates no recurring payment mandate;
  • continuing after a period ends requires a new purchase that you make yourself;
  • because nothing renews, no cancellation is needed to prevent a future charge; and
  • switching plans ends the running period early. If you buy a different plan while a period is still running, the new plan starts when that payment is confirmed and replaces the plan you were on; time left on the earlier period is not added to the new one and does not come back if you switch again. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, any unused time or value from the replaced plan is not transferable, refundable, or credited toward the new plan, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

5. When a paid period ends

Expiry is not account closure. Your account stays open and your portfolio data stays where it is; closing or deleting your account is a separate action you take yourself (Account → Danger zone → Delete account), and it is described in the Privacy Policy.

Buying Pro again restores the paid features on the data already in your account — nothing has to be entered a second time.

6. Payments that fail or are not confirmed

  • If a payment is not confirmed as successful by our payment processor, Finachiva does not treat the purchase as completed and does not activate the paid plan on that basis. If your bank or payment provider nevertheless shows a debit, contact us with the payment reference so that we can trace the transaction and, where applicable, coordinate its resolution with the payment provider.
  • A payment that was started but not yet confirmed appears on the Billing page under “Payments not yet confirmed”. That panel lists the five most recent unconfirmed payments started in the last 24 hours. An entry leaves the panel when the payment is confirmed or is recorded as failed, and also once 24 hours have passed, whether or not the payment was resolved. If your bank or payment app shows a debit, note the reference shown in that panel while it is still listed.
  • If your bank or payment app shows a debit but the plan has not been applied within a few minutes, write to support@finachiva.com with the payment reference and we will trace it with the payment provider.

7. Cancellation and refunds

Because Finachiva plans do not renew automatically (see section 4), there is no recurring charge to cancel. The clauses below state the cancellation and refund position in full, and apply wherever a cancellation process is made available.

7.1 Cancellation. Because paid plans do not automatically renew, there is no recurring subscription charge to cancel. You may stop using a paid plan at any time, but doing so does not by itself entitle you to a refund for the unused portion of the current paid period, except where a refund is required under this Agreement or applicable law.

7.2 General No-Refund Policy. Except as expressly provided in this Agreement, payments and subscription fees are non-refundable, including where you discontinue using the Services before the end of a paid subscription period.

7.3 Refunds for Billing Errors. If Finachiva makes a duplicate charge, an incorrect charge, or another billing error attributable to Finachiva, Finachiva will, after verification, refund or otherwise correct the amount incorrectly charged.

7.4 Service Issues. Where the Services are materially unavailable for a substantial period due to a failure within Finachiva's reasonable control, Finachiva may, at its reasonable discretion and having regard to the circumstances, provide an appropriate service credit, partial refund, or other remedy.

7.5 Mandatory Rights. Nothing in this Section is intended to exclude, restrict, or waive any refund, cancellation, replacement, compensation, or other right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under applicable law. Where applicable mandatory law provides a consumer with a right to a refund or other remedy, that right will continue to apply notwithstanding this Section.

7.6 No Refund for Investment Performance. Finachiva does not provide refunds, compensation, or other monetary remedies merely because investment values, returns, projections, calculations, or investment outcomes differ from a user's expectations or because a user incurs an investment loss. The Services are provided for tracking and planning purposes and do not guarantee any investment outcome.

To ask for a refund under 7.3 or 7.4, write to support@finachiva.com with the payment reference. An approved refund is returned through the original payment method, or by another lawful method where that is not possible.

8. If we discontinue a paid service

If we permanently discontinue a paid service before the end of a period you have already paid for, for reasons other than your breach of the Terms, we will provide an appropriate remedy consistent with applicable law. Depending on the circumstances that may be continued access for the remainder of the period, replacement access, or a refund for the unused part of the period.

9. Price changes

We may change prices for future purchases. A price change never changes the price of a period you have already paid for, and the price for a new purchase is shown before you confirm it.

10. Contact

Billing and refund questions: support@finachiva.com. Finachiva will endeavour to acknowledge support requests within 48 hours and will use reasonable efforts to investigate and address substantiated issues within a reasonable period, having regard to their nature and complexity.

If a billing complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, our Grievance Officer is named in the Privacy Policy.
