Financial Information & Non-Investment Advice Notice

Effective date: 12 September 2026 · Version 1.3

Draft — pending legal review. This is a working template. Highlighted fields must be completed and the whole document reviewed by a lawyer before launch.

Finachiva, operated by Finachiva Enterprise, is a portfolio-tracking and financial-calculation tool that helps you record investments and explore calculations based on information you provide and available market data. This notice explains the nature and the limits of the information and calculations it produces. It forms part of the Terms of Service.

1. Finachiva does not provide investment advice

Finachiva is not a SEBI-registered investment adviser and does not provide investment advice. Nothing in the service is a recommendation, and Finachiva does not provide personalised investment advice or recommendations based on your circumstances.

Finachiva does not, and is not designed to:

  • recommend that you buy, sell, hold, or switch any security, fund, or other investment;
  • select a particular security, fund, or scheme for you;
  • recommend an asset allocation;
  • assess whether an investment is suitable or appropriate for you, or profile your risk;
  • advise on a financial plan, or act on one for you; or
  • advise you on when to act.

Finachiva does not make an investment judgment about your holdings or decide what you should do with them. It reports and computes; the decisions remain entirely yours.

2. What Finachiva does

You record your investments and the assumptions you want to use, and Finachiva performs arithmetic on what you entered together with end-of-day market data. Depending on the features available to your account, that can include portfolio values, gains and losses, returns, descriptive asset-allocation information, goal progress, target values, required contributions, and comparisons against an index.

Where Finachiva displays asset allocation, it describes the composition of the investments you have entered. It does not recommend a target allocation or tell you how your portfolio should be allocated.

Where Finachiva compares your portfolio or returns with an index, the comparison is informational only. It does not mean that you should invest in, switch to, or seek to match that index.

Every one of those is a mathematical output. They are intended to help you understand your recorded investments and explore the mathematical consequences of assumptions you choose. None of these outputs is, by itself, personalised investment advice or a recommendation.

3. Goal, SIP, and contribution calculations

Goal and contribution calculations are illustrations. They are computed from inputs you enter or select — a target amount, a target date, an amount already invested, an assumed rate of return, an assumed contribution, and similar. Changing any one of those inputs can change the result materially.

A required-contribution figure therefore means exactly one thing: it is the amount the arithmetic produces from the assumptions used. It is not a statement that you should invest that amount, that the amount is affordable or suitable for you, or that contributing it will reach the goal. Finachiva does not guarantee any goal will be met.

Finachiva does not select the contribution amount for you as an investment recommendation; the figure is the mathematical result of the inputs and assumptions used.

4. Projections and scenarios

Any projected value, future balance, chart of future growth, or similar output is a scenario, not a forecast. It shows what the arithmetic gives if the assumptions hold — nothing more. Such outputs are not guarantees, not promises of a return, and not predictions of market performance, and actual outcomes may differ materially from them.

Past performance and historical returns, wherever shown, do not indicate or guarantee future results. Nothing displayed through Finachiva is a guarantee of a return, of capital being preserved, of a goal being reached, or of any future price or valuation.

Calculations may contain errors arising from incorrect inputs, unavailable or incorrect market data, software defects, rounding, timing differences, or other technical limitations. You should independently verify material calculations before relying on them.

5. Market data and its limits

Prices are end-of-day values obtained from third-party market-data providers, covering listed securities, mutual-fund NAVs, pension-scheme NAVs, and precious-metal reference rates. They may be delayed, carried forward from the last available close, supplied by us where no external price is available (for example an instrument with no active market feed), or based on a valuation you entered yourself.

They are not real-time, not execution prices, and not guaranteed to be accurate, current, or complete. A value shown here may differ from the value shown by your broker, your AMC, or another source. Verify anything that matters against your broker, the AMC, and official records before you act on it.

Finachiva is not a substitute for the records maintained by your broker, AMC, bank, pension provider, issuer, exchange, or other official source. Where there is a difference between Finachiva and an official source, you should rely on the applicable official record for transaction or investment decisions.

6. Listing an investment is not endorsing it

A security, fund, scheme, asset type, price, or NAV appearing in Finachiva — in a search result, in a picker, in a chart, or anywhere else — does not mean we recommend it, endorse it, consider it suitable for you, expect it to perform in any particular way, or suggest that you transact in it. It means only that the instrument exists in our data and can be tracked.

7. No execution, custody, or portfolio management

Finachiva does not:

  • place, execute, or route orders;
  • hold securities, or act as a custodian or depository participant;
  • receive or hold money for investment;
  • manage a portfolio, or act on a discretionary or non-discretionary mandate; or
  • act as a broker, distributor, or investment adviser.

If any of these activities changes, we will disclose the change separately and will obtain any registration, licence, approval, authorisation, or other regulatory permission required by applicable law before providing the relevant service — not something that arrives quietly inside an existing feature.

8. You remain responsible for your investment decisions

You are responsible for the investments you make, and for:

  • the holdings, transactions, and valuations you enter, and their accuracy;
  • the assumptions you choose, including any assumed rate of return;
  • verifying anything material against your broker, AMC, or other official records;
  • understanding the risks of the investments you hold; and
  • obtaining professional advice where you need it.

Finachiva should not be the sole basis for an investment decision. Investments are subject to market risks, including the possible loss of the amount invested.

9. Professional advice

If you want advice on whether an investment is suitable for you, what to buy or sell, asset allocation, or other matters requiring regulated investment advice, consider consulting a SEBI-registered investment adviser or other appropriately qualified professional, as applicable. For tax matters, consult an appropriately qualified tax professional. Finachiva cannot answer those questions and does not try to.
